How an inspiration postcard subscription came to be
More than 15 years ago, I asked myself two questions:
“How can I spread more joy?”
and
“How can I help inspire people?”
For the time being, they remained just questions. At that time, I had not yet come up with the idea of a postcard subscription for inspiration.
When I got on my motorcycle in my mid-fifties and adopted the lifestyle of a world traveller, these questions came up again.
I found plenty of inspiration for them in my life. But ideas need time to mature, and so I allowed this idea to mature as well.
I am not a patient person, but sometimes life takes a different course and things simply take a little longer.
Why I Travel the World
More than 30 years ago, I told a group of friends that one day I would see the world and that I certainly would not wait until retirement.
First, however, came the traditional path: training, working in the business sector, running my own practice in alternative health promotion, and a private life with family and friends.
Then the time came. The words I had spoken more than 30 years earlier suddenly became present again, and I decided to live as a world traveller.
I want to create memories and find new inspiration through people, animals and nature in different cultures. I want to listen to stories and tell stories, broaden my horizons, and make my life vibrant and full of adventure.

What I Have Discovered So Far
Wonderful people, animals, cities and countries with their stories have crossed my path not only since I became a world traveller.
They all fascinated and inspired me. They made me laugh, made me think, and encouraged me to put my ideas and creativity into practice.
Of course, not all of my ideas take several years to put into action.
This is how I was able to combine my love of travel and my love of animals. Today, I work as a travelling pet sitter, which has already become a calling.

And now a postcard subscription for inspiration has come about.
A little chat about me
– Favourite Books:
My bookshelves are quite varied. I love the historical novels by Rebecca Gablé, devour crime novels by Jussi Adler-Olsen and Hjorth & Rosenfeldt, and I can always have a good laugh with the Eberhofer stories by Rita Falk.
– Favourite Dish:
Although I live 95% vegan, there is one dish I cannot resist: “Grünkohl und Pinkel”, a traditional dish from Oldenburg. It simply feels like home on a plate.
– Inspiring:
Vera F. Birkenbihl impressed me deeply. Her wisdom and clarity are still with me today. But in general, I am inspired by all people who have the courage to make their dreams come true.
– Passions:
Besides writing and travelling as a pet sitter, there are many things I enjoy: travelling the world on my motorcycle, getting lost in a good book, taking photos and filming special moments, swimming in a lake, and simply dancing whenever I feel like it.
– Dislikes:
Unnecessary plastic waste, excessive hygiene obsession, putting people into boxes, environmental pollution, and constant complaining. Life is too beautiful for so much negativity. I like people who live consciously and appreciate the uniqueness of every living being.
